In1980s, Electrically switchable smart glass was introduced by Swedish materials physicist Claes-Göran Granqvist from the Chalmers University of Technology. However, its material and installation cost has never been popularized.
After 40years of evolving technology, a better and more accessible alternative has been invented. The invisiPro Curtain is a 0.3mm thin layer of film, which can be switched electrically between light scattering and transparent states.
